Tangent (Portal at Trinity Innovation and Enterprise)
PROJECT: Portal at Trinity Innovation and Enterprise is Trinity College Dublin's ideas and innovation hub, supporting students and young entrepreneurs to develop their ideas and build new ventures. Launchbox is their flagship accelerator programme, and the event we covered was a pitching competition bringing together young entrepreneurs to present their ideas in front of an audience and panel.

What they needed
They needed comprehensive video coverage of the Launchbox event, capturing the energy and atmosphere of the day while also producing content that could be used beyond the event itself. With multiple things happening simultaneously across the venue, they needed a team that could be in more than one place at once.
What we did
We deployed multiple crews across the event, filming the pitches, capturing interviews with participants and covering the atmosphere throughout the day. Alongside this, we livestreamed the event in full, meaning that what was happening in the room could be shared with audiences wherever they were. It is the kind of multi-faceted production we particularly enjoy, where the logistical challenge is as interesting as the creative one.
