Arcade Film is a Dublin-based video production company. We make documentary films, arts films, installation work and corporate video. We work across a wide range of contexts, from intimate creative collaborations with artists and arts organisations to larger scale commissioned productions.

We work with a broad range of arts and cultural organisations, charities, museums, galleries, public bodies and community groups. Our clients have included 14 Henrietta Street, Crawford Art Gallery, the Irish Hospice Foundation, Fingal County Council, RCSI, the Construction Industry Federation and Verizon, among many others.

Yes. We have extensive experience working with arts organisations, charities and community projects, and we understand that budgets in the sector vary enormously. We are always happy to have an honest conversation about what is possible within your budget and to find an approach that works.

It depends on the project. For some commissions we are brought in to execute a clearly defined brief. For others we work much more collaboratively, developing the approach together with the client or artist. We are comfortable in both modes and happy to find the right level of involvement for each project.

Absolutely. Some of our most valued work has involved filming with non-professional contributors, including learning disabled artists, older people, children and young people, and community groups. We approach all contributors with care, sensitivity and respect.

We can provide photography alongside filming where needed. On larger productions we coordinate professional photographers to ensure visual cohesion across both moving image and stills.

Yes, and it is work we particularly love. We have produced video art and AV installation work for museums and galleries, including pieces projected onto objects, multi-screen work and audio-visual experiences designed for specific spaces.

It depends entirely on the scale of the project. On shorter documentary or arts films we might work with a crew of two or three, while larger commercial productions can call for a team of twenty or thirty. We scale to whatever the project needs.

We are based in Dublin but work across Ireland, the UK and Europe and have experience delivering productions at a wide range of locations.
