The Hugh Lane Gallery

PROJECT: At the Hugh Lane Gallery, we’ve documented Ailbhe Ní Bhriain’s Cloud Pool Intervals exhibition, filmed the installation and lead-up for Andy Warhol’s Three Times Out, and created a behind-the-scenes video showcasing the work of the gallery’s conservation department.

CLIENT: The Hugh Lane Gallery

What they needed

We work with the Hugh Lane Gallery on an ongoing basis, producing a wide range of video content to showcase their exhibitions and behind-the-scenes work. They needed someone to document the creative process, the installation of works, and the inner workings of the gallery in an engaging way.

What we did

We produced a variety of videos for the gallery, from longer-form projects like Ailbhe Ní Bhriain’s Cloud Pool Intervals — capturing both the exhibition itself and the lead-up to it — to shorter promotional pieces for major shows, including Andy Warhol’s Three Times Out.

For the Warhol exhibition, filming in the room as these iconic works were unpacked offered a surreal and unforgettable insight into the scale and care involved.

We also created a video showcasing the work of the conservation department, highlighting the meticulous process of preserving and maintaining the gallery’s collection. Across all these projects, we captured both the detail and the scope of the gallery’s work, and it was a privilege to be part of such fascinating behind-the-scenes moments.
